Very Busy Sunday

This morning Uncle Cal and Aunt Jazzy stopped by to visit their favorite nephew, Alex. Everyone seemed to have a great time and Alex really enjoyed all of his goodies.

I love the look that Alex is giving his Uncle Cal.... it will be a look he will give him often throughout life. "What you talkin' bout Uncle Cal??"

Saturday morning before 2009 Project began....

Sunday afternoon late, phase one almost complete. It probably would have moved a lot faster for the tree trimmers if I would not have demanded so many snapshots of the whole process.

Alex was not a happy camper for this pic. The sun is shining right in his eyes but I couldn't resist getting a few shots for his "babysite". Like yesterday he slept through the better part of this project and for that matter so did Annie, see below.

Jamie (the tree guy) figures this bad boy was over a hundred years old. I personally figured on about fifty... I'd go with his estimate over mine.


They took it down with a truck and the stump grinder.

You could smell the wood burning.
